My fees are no more than the list above. I do however charge the minum of 10.00 to leave my house to go to yours plus the notary fees. If mileage is over 5 miles, then a charge of .50 cent a mile will be charged after that. I personally can't stand having to get things notarized, but I realized there aren't that many notaries out there. If you go to a bank you have to sit and wait. If you have a notary come to you, they charge you alot. Like if you look at the prices up, this is the legal amount to charge, a notary is not allowed to charge any higher than these fees or they can lose their right to notarize. Unfortunately, a notary can not notarize a family members items. So even becoming a notary doesn't help me out with my problem.<br />If you are interested in becoming a notary try <a href="http://www.notarybonding.com/">http://www.notarybonding.com/</a> , they are the cheapest!<br />I got the basic stuff and my training was $70.06 and my commission will last for 4 years. It cost more if you want to buy more supplies, but to start out you just need the basic stuff.<br />Also, you can register at <a href="http://www.notaryrotary.com/">http://www.notaryrotary.com/</a> to advertise your Notary Public services.<br />Why not try it you make like it! Also, be careful, don't notarize anything without identification. Also,read the paperwork before you notarize it. If it is something high profile, I would send them elsewhere, if you feel uneasy.
